Tips for storing herbs…

planted herbs

Fresh herbs are some of the most perishable items. When you purchase herbs you can keep them fresh longer if you store them in the fridge in a damp paper towel. If you buy herbs with their roots still attached you can simply place them in a cup filled with water.

Herbs are integral ingredients to have because not only do they add tons of flavor to any dish but you can also use them to make your own flavored compound butter or add them to a home made Jam. Herbs add so much dimension and depth of flavor to ordinary ingredients !
